What was happening in your life at the time you left Cedars? I was getting on pretty badly with my parents... During your time at Cedars, did you have any idea what you wanted to do next? I always knew I wanted to draw for a living since I can remember. What actually happened next? I left home to live in a hippy commune in the Pennines. Don't ask! What was your first real job? Graphic designer at Yorkshire Television. What did that lead to? Drawing "Zoids" for Marvel Comics. What are you doing now? Drawing Horrible Histories and Horrible Science for Eaglemoss Publications. What's next for you? Do you have any plans for the future? I'm working with a comics writer on a project we want to take to the French comics market. What is the best piece of advice you were ever given? Give up on that comics rubbish! What advice would you give to a Cedars student getting ready for the future? If you don't have any idea where you're headed, you probably won't get there. |
